FOR STUDENTS OF ALL DEGREE PROGRAMS
Inspired by Sketchy and Pixorise
We've all used visual mnemonic systems at some point. Now create your own hand-made mnemonic for any pharmacology concept.
What is it?
Create a hand-made visual mnemonic for any pharmacology concept using traditional art media such as sketching, painting, all types of paints, pastels, pencils, or collage.
This competition is about creating your own memorable visual pharmacology language on a single A3 page or canvas only (29.7 x 42 cm / 11.7 x 16.5 inches), then decoding it clearly in front of judges.
Pick a Concept
Choose any pharmacology concept and keep the core science sharp.
Draw the Scene
Build a hand-made visual mnemonic with sketching, paints, pastels, pencils, or collage on an A3 page or canvas only.
Crack the Code
Present in person and decode your mnemonic with pharmacological correctness.

Workflow
Brainstorm
Mind map connections. Use homonyms (e.g., "Il-2" = "two" = "tutuu").
Draft
Rough sketch. Place characters spatially to tell a story left-to-right.
Finalize
Ink it. Color it. Make the key symbols pop.
Disqualification
Any entry found to be a copy of existing SketchyMedical, Pixorise, or Picmonic material will be instantly DQ'd. We know them all. Don’t try it.
Presentation Tip
Use an A3 page or canvas only for judging, and if you want a more polished presentation, you can get your artwork framed before the event.
